Sasuke entered the Konoha Ninja Academy as one of its leading students, placing third in the entrance examination behind Hyuga Fuyuki and Hyuga Hinata. He entered the Elite Class and received intensive training from his father, Uchiha Fugaku. At this stage, Sasuke deeply admired his elder brother, Uchiha Itachi, and eagerly awaited his attention after school. 20

Itachi’s massacre of the Uchiha Clan left Sasuke as the apparent sole survivor. The event became the foundation of his identity and ambition: gain strength, defeat Itachi, and restore the Uchiha name.
