Background / History

Little Poison is one of four ancient Tokens alongside Little Fire, Little Ice, and Little Cold. It states that the Tokens are not products of the Dou Qi Continent and recalls no existence before arriving there; when the four first appeared, their internal energy was nearly depleted. Mo Li, the first sect master of the Nether Poison Sect, selected Little Poison and took it with him. 198 297

It remained at the Nether Poison Sect's sealed ruins for tens of thousands of years, accompanied by the sect's final white-haired master. During that period, it retained the sect's poisonous fog, treasures, Source Qi of the Emperor, and accumulated knowledge of ancient techniques. 193 195 196

After Zhang Nian inherits the Nether Poison Sect, Little Poison reveals itself as the Sect Master Token and initially calls itself Pai Pai. Zhang Nian pressures it into obedience with Nanming Li Fire and Ziwei Heavenly Fire, then names it “Little Poison.” 187 188 It fuses into Zhang Nian's dantian and becomes his principal source of information on the sect's legacy. 201

Little Poison helps Zhang Nian locate the Ice Spirit Sect by sensing Little Ice's coordinates through an unstable spatial passage. Once Little Ice is subdued and enters Zhang Nian's dantian, Little Poison reunites with its longtime counterpart after ten thousand years. 217 229

When Little Cold activates a formation to draw energy from the four Tokens and open a planar passage, Little Poison opposes the plan. It reveals that Mo Li had contacted it from another world and warned it of the danger that a reopened connection could bring to the Dou Qi Continent. 291 The formation drains three-quarters of Little Poison's energy, but it continues assisting Zhang Nian and Zhu Kun against Little Cold. 294 306
