• Yu Yuanzhen disowned Yu Xiaogang, broke his jaw and limbs, and sent him to the Death Prison, where Yu Luomian later considered using Tang San to lure out Tang Hao.
• Chen Ming recruited the Great Strength Savage Bull Clan and the Thousand Jun Ant Clan, returned to Holy Soul Village, and began planning a modern city with the villagers.

Their expedition encountered powerful Spirit Beasts and ended with the humans weighing a dangerous hunt for the Dragon Turtle and Sacred Illusion Demon Ape.

Meanwhile, Tang San escaped the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan with Tang Hao and Yu Xiaogang, then entered Shrek under an alias, where Chen Ming watched his entrance test.

• Chen Ming persuaded the Dragon Turtle to sacrifice itself, gaining its crimson Spirit Ring and four Spirit Skills before telling Qian Renxue that the beast had left.
• Chen Ming persuaded the Sacred Illusion Demon Ape to sacrifice itself after promising to protect its son, and its Spirit Ring and head Spirit Bone raised him to level sixty.
