Bibi Dong rules Martial Soul Hall from the Papal Palace as its Pope. After hearing that Unrivaled Thief defeated an opponent eight levels above himself with a Self-Created Soul Skill, she recognizes his exceptional talent and attempts to take him as her disciple. Her offer is backed by the display of nine Soul Rings, making its coercive intent clear; Qian Daoliu intervenes, suppresses her aura, and takes Unrivaled Thief as his own disciple instead. 4 5

She initially views Unrivaled Thief as a pawn Qian Daoliu uses to provoke her, while regarding her daughter Qian Renxue as her principal concern within Martial Soul Hall.
