The cake Harry Osborn had dangled before them—the Symbiote Armor—was simply too tempting.

On the third day, Harry received an official notice from the military.

William Stryker's death was ultimately classified as an accident during an experiment at a secret base. Everyone who knew the truth had signed the highest-level nondisclosure agreement.

As for the Mutants who had been rescued, the X-Men took them in. They couldn't be bothered to ask what would happen to them next, or to look into William Stryker's research over the years.

In return, though, they hoped Harry would provide samples of the Bio-Armor for testing as soon as possible...

To the S.H.I.E.L.D. and military leadership, there was no need to ask which was more valuable: a dead Stryker, or a living Harry who could provide them with Bio-Armor.

Since the technology was already in hand, Harry made a few minor improvements, grew the first batch of prototype samples, and submitted them.

Of course, he'd added a little something to the Bio-Armor, specifically to deal with Hydra...

The results left the military leadership and S.H.I.E.L.D. thoroughly satisfied.

After equipping an ordinary soldier with the basic Symbiote Armor, all his physical attributes soared to three times their previous levels.

He could punch a sandbag flying and run more than ten miles with a heavy load without even getting winded.

More importantly, as Harry had said, the cost of this stuff was absurdly low.

"The total cultivation cost of each standard Symbiote Armor set can be reduced to under ten thousand dollars once mass production begins, sir."

Prometheus I's voice rang through Harry's private lab.

"Excellent."

Harry nodded with satisfaction. Most of the cost came from the control system.
