"Damn!"
Realizing that the inner demon was using telekinesis, Zheng Zha cursed outright.
He could clearly tell that the invisible pressure was squeezing in from all directions, seeping into his skin and crushing his bones.
This feeling was fucking familiar.
A thousand questions flashed through Zheng Zha's mind, but his body reacted faster than his thoughts.
The muscle fibers throughout his body tensed, twisted, and then erupted with the force of a mountain flood.
His bones groaned under the strain, and the veins beneath his skin bulged one after another like coiled, furious dragons.
"Get the hell off me—!"
With a roar, he forcibly broke free from the invisible restraints through sheer brute strength.
The air around him gave a crisp crack, like glass being burst apart.
The next second, his figure vanished from where he stood.
There were no unnecessary movements, no flashy techniques—only the purest speed and power.
He appeared before the inner demon in the form of a little girl, his right fist carrying a sonic boom that tore through the air as it blasted straight forward. His fist passed through the black mist, as though striking an insubstantial shadow.
But Zheng Zha did not relax in the slightest.
Because just before his fist connected, he saw it.
A smile had appeared on the little girl's face.
An innocent yet bizarre smile.
The scattered black mist did not disperse in all directions as before. Instead, it reassembled behind him at an absurdly fast speed.
This time, its form was even more solid, almost indistinguishable from a real person.
She turned around, raised her tiny hand, and gave a light wave in Zheng Zha's direction.
There was no sound, no flash of light.
But Zheng Zha's scalp exploded with alarm.
A deadly sense of danger washed over him
