Background / History
Simon chose to split his soul rather than attain godhood within his original body. The resulting wind and water clones had their own divine bodies and sword-shaped souls, while remaining parts of Simon's shared soul. Soul splitting initially left him weakened, requiring years of recovery 7.
Having two elemental bodies let Simon cultivate wind and water separately and use fused divine power. He also deployed the clones independently: the Water Element Divine Clone guarded a mysterious tree while the others sought its identification, and later guarded Xiao Yi's main body 116 164.
After becoming Sovereigns, the clones continued separate cultivation and research. At the end of Simon's transformation into a Hongmeng Body, their souls merged with his original soul; both Sovereign clones and their Sovereign Sparks dissipated 264.
