Background

Fanny was raised as a pampered, carefree direct descendant of the Grayson Family in Hell. Concerned that she would become spoiled and irresponsible, her grandfather Grayson sent her to the Rayast Material Plane to serve as its Plane Guardian and temper her character. 14

She spent nearly a million years guarding Rayast. The isolation was initially difficult for the lively Fanny, but she gradually adapted, fulfilled her duties, and became more mature while developing her Fire and Fate laws. 13 14

Near the end of her assignment, Fanny met the newly ascended god Simon Herbert at Rayast's Plane Teleportation Array. Their easy banter quickly developed into mutual affection; after travelling together across the Shadow Continent and cultivating side by side, they agreed to journey to Hell once both were ready. 13 14

Fanny is a golden-haired, exceptionally beautiful young woman who appears to be around eighteen despite being more than a million years old. 13

Fanny is lively, playful, and fond of teasing Simon, often acting with the uninhibited confidence of a wealthy young mistress. She can be easily bored by prolonged cultivation, prefers companionship and adventure, and takes visible pride in her strength. 13 21 30

Her time as Plane Guardian made her more responsible without eliminating her mischievous streak. She rejected her family's arranged escort in Hell so that she and Simon could travel independently, trusting both her own strength and the treasures Grayson had given her. 14 19

She is deeply generous toward those she accepts as close companions. Fanny gave Simon cultivation resources, entrusted him with one of her two drops of Sovereign's Might, and later worked seriously to improve herself so she would not merely rely on his protection. 15 37 45
