Night had completely enveloped the entire Uninhabited Island.

The temperature had dropped considerably compared to evening, carrying a slight chill.

Suzuki Tsubame strode along the forest path, his steps light yet steady as he hurried toward the camp.

He had already completed today's check-in task.

The time displayed on his watch was 21:43, slightly slower than during the day.

Katsuragi's vigil outside the cave had been within Suzuki Tsubame's expectations from beginning to end. Unfortunately... no matter how cautious he was, he could not see through Suzuki Tsubame's "hard work and persistence."

Before long, the outline of the camp came into view.

Four simple tents had been set up at uneven intervals. The camp was quiet, with only a few sparks lingering in the bonfire, giving off a faint warmth.

Looks like everyone was asleep. Hmm... or perhaps there was not enough firewood, and the remaining light could no longer sustain their gathering.

Suzuki Tsubame softened his steps, trying not to make any noise as he planned to quietly slip into his tent.

When he lifted the flap, he found eight people sprawled all over the tent.

They had left him a spot in the corner near the entrance to lie down in. At least they had some conscience.

The night had not yet fully receded, and only a faint pearly whiteness had appeared on the horizon.

Suzuki Tsubame had already completed his morning check-in task and was on his way back to the class camp. Rubbing his heavy temples, he could not help feeling miserable.

If it were the other students, they would probably still be deep in their dreams right now. Only he had climbed out of bed before dawn to seize a few lousy strongholds.

After just one day, he was already starting to grumble inwardly.
