After lunch, Sakaki Chika remained in the room where she usually slept. Her manager would be coming to pick her up soon, while Teacher Haihara seemed to still be in her own room.
Sakaki Chika was still thinking about how to bring up the gift.
She looked at the mirror in the room. Reflected in it was herself, already changed into her clothes, looking somewhat timid and uneasy.
Looking at her reflection, Sakaki Chika muttered to herself, "Will Teacher... accept it...?"
It was a habit she had whenever she felt anxious.
Only by talking to herself in the mirror could she calm down.
After she left, would she and Teacher still have a chance? Would Teacher still allow her to come over?
