• The Nine-Crown Emperor defeated Thunder Mother and her forces with the power of the Goddess of Absolute Darkness, then forced Thunder Mother to submit by threatening her with the fate of the Bear Immortal and his followers.
• Thunder Mother agreed to serve the Nine-Crown Emperor, who promised her a stronger Buddha vow after he obtained the Zen Lord golden body.
