"I'm afraid you won't find the way, so I'll just send you over myself. Off you go!" With that, Su Yu lifted Erha and tossed him straight into the Space Rift.

Erha let out a terrified howl, "Awooo~ awooo~"

After Erha was thrown into the Space Rift, the rift vanished.

On the road to the Star Dou Great Forest, Zhao Wuji led Tang San and the other eight as they sprinted through the mountain jungle. Suddenly, right ahead of them in the sky above, they witnessed the heavens being torn open with a gash.

The nine of them froze in place, startled. From the rift in the sky came a series of howls, "Awooo~ awooo~"

The group stared at the rift in terror, only Tang San and Xiao Wu wore strange expressions—how familiar those howls were...

They all saw a black-and-white dog plummet from the sky, crashing heavily to the ground with a loud thud.

Xiao Wu moved to check on Erha, but Zhao Wuji immediately blocked her, saying, "Don't go over there. Though this Soul Beast is small in size, falling from the sky like that means it's no simple creature."

Xiao Wu simply sidestepped Zhao Wuji and laughed, "What's so complicated about it? That's Dead Su Yu's mount, just a big dumb dog." As she spoke, she ran over to Erha.

Erha lay sprawled on the ground. Xiao Wu patted his head and asked, "Erha, how did you end up here?"

Erha whined pitifully, "Awooo~ awooo~"

Tang San came over to Erha, stroked his body, and said, "Did Xiao Yu send you to protect Xiao Wu?"

Erha nodded frantically.

Zhao Wuji and the others approached Erha. The dog immediately jumped up, lifting his head high and proud—he had to maintain his dignity in front of outsiders.

Zhao Wuji's expression twisted oddly. "Xiao Wu, you're saying this is that kid Su Yu's mount? You're not joking, are you? This dog looks like it might only be a ten-year Soul Beast."

"Teacher Zhao, don't underestimate Erha. I'm not sure about his combat strength, but his running speed is incredible—no slower than a ten-thousand-year agility-type Soul Beast," Tang San spoke up.

The group nodded. Xiao Wu patted Erha and said, "Erha, just follow along with us for now."

Erha nodded in understanding. Then Tang San and the others resumed their run, and Erha immediately sped up to overtake them. Seeing Erha run so fast, the group was slightly surprised, and they believed what Tang San had said earlier was probably true.

Just as they were marveling at Erha's speed, the dog turned his head back to look at them, then stuck out his tongue in smug delight.

The group was stunned. Dai Mubai's mouth twitched as he asked, "Is he provoking us?"

Zhao Wuji's hot temper flared up. "In all my life, this is the first time I've been looked down on by a dog! You little—stop right there!" With that, he burst forward at full speed.

Erha wasn't flustered at all. No matter how fast Zhao Wuji went, Erha was always just a little bit faster. The distance between man and dog stayed steady at about a hundred meters, which infuriated Zhao Wuji.

He couldn't beat Su Yu, and losing to Tang Hao was understandable—but losing a race to a dog? That was infuriating.

Man and dog sprinted for an entire day. Zhao Wuji's Soul Power was nearly spent, while Erha only grew more energetic. Zhao Wuji returned to the group, and everyone looked at him, panting heavily. Xiao Wu chuckled, "Teacher Zhao, did you not catch Erha?"

Talk about rubbing salt in the wound. Zhao Wuji's face darkened instantly. "What kind of freak dog is that? How can it run so fast? And after a whole day, it's not even tired."

Xiao Wu waved her hand. "I don't know what kind of Soul Beast Erha is either. I just know he's never met his match when it comes to running."

Just then, Erha arrived. Hearing Xiao Wu's words, he immediately let out two proud howls, as if to say, Of course!

"Let's find a place to settle down," Zhao Wuji said, then walked off in a huff.

Lin Rou smiled. "Teacher Zhao seems pretty upset."

Ma Hongjun burst out laughing. "Haha, a Soul Saint losing a race to a dog—anyone would be upset."

Hearing this, Zhao Wuji turned back and fixed his gaze on Ma Hongjun, his eyes blazing with murderous intent.

Ma Hongjun immediately ducked behind Tang San in fright.

The next day

At Shrek Academy, Yu Xiaogang arrived. Su Yu and Flender stood at the school gate waiting for him. When Su Yu spotted Yu Xiaogang, he immediately waved and called out, "Teacher."

Yu Xiaogang saw Su Yu waving, walked up to him, and smiled. "Xiao Yu, where's Xiao San?"

"Oscar and Ma Hongjun have broken through to level thirty. Xiao San and the others went to the Star Dou Great Forest," Flender said.

Yu Xiaogang nodded slightly. "Oscar and Ma Hongjun are both current students at the academy, right?"

Flender nodded, then took a document from his Storage Soul Tool and handed it to Yu Xiaogang. Yu Xiaogang looked it over and nodded. "Not bad. This batch of students has excellent talent. Especially this Ma Hongjun—his Martial Soul's potential has already surpassed the Thunder Tyrannosaurus Rex!"

Flender laughed heartily. "Haha, you'll have to thank your disciple for that. Xiao Yu helped Hongjun transform his Martial Soul from the Evil Fire Phoenix into the Holy Flame Phoenix."

Yu Xiaogang was surprised. "A second awakening?"

Flender hadn't heard the term before and asked, puzzled, "What's a second awakening?"

"No wonder. As long as this Ma Hongjun doesn't fall, his future is limitless. Flender, you've taken on a fine disciple," Yu Xiaogang marveled.

Flender smiled. "Can my disciple compare to yours? Setting aside that freak Xiao Yu, even Tang San—Ma Hongjun can't match him."

Yu Xiaogang chuckled. "Why compare him to Xiao San? Come on, take me to see the academy."

Flender nodded, and he and Su Yu led Yu Xiaogang into Shrek Academy.

After Yu Xiaogang toured the academy, the three of them went up to the balcony on the upper floor to drink tea. Su Yu sat with the two elders without any pressure at all. Flender and Yu Xiaogang chatted about how to develop Shrek Academy in the future, while Su Yu focused on drinking his tea.
