A Humanoid Demon asked. He was a dog demon called the Grey Rock Dog King. He still had a dog's ears and nose and wore a coat of fur. His strength was decent.

That day, Su Yi led the demons into a canyon. He had been subduing demons along the way, and now his followers numbered eight thousand, with two more Humanoid Demons among them.

"Great King, the demonic aura here is heavy. We should be careful," the Purple-Backed Bear King warned. He looked bold enough, but ever since leaving Qiling Land, he had been extremely cautious. To put it bluntly, he was a coward.

Su Yi nodded, but didn't take it to heart. He didn't sense any danger.

Eight thousand demons streamed into the canyon, making quite a show, especially with so many of them being enormous.

As they reached the middle of the canyon, a wolf's howl rang out from above. All the demons looked up in alarm.

A black wolf stood atop a hundred-meter-high cliff, howling at the sky. Its mouth bristled with fangs, its body stretched five meters long, and its limbs were thick and powerful.

As its howl rang out, demons began appearing along the cliffs on both sides. Most were wolves, but there were tigers, leopards, bears, and dogs among them, all glaring down with vicious eyes.

"There really is an ambush!"
