History

Desolate Ancient arrival

Nan Xiaopao is initially a Baiqiao University student with feelings for Su Yi. When Earthlings are displaced into Desolate Ancient, she shelters the weakened Su Yi in her dormitory, accepts that their world has changed, and keeps watch while he begins cultivating. 3 4

Su Yi later gives her a Dragon Strength Pill, allowing her to gain One Dragon Power. When Mo Haosheng notices her unusual physical strength and offers to take her as a personal maid, she refuses outright and conceals the pill's origin to protect Su Yi. 8 10

Awakening of the Qiling Holy Body

In Xiwan City, Nan Xiaopao is drawn to the Qiling Holy Lotus and enters its pit despite the danger. The Lotus recognizes her as a compatible host and awakens her Qiling Holy Body. 29 30 36

Following the awakening, she gains increased strength, control over the Lotus, and a determination to stand beside Su Yi rather than remain someone he alone must protect. 36 38

Kasyapa Temple

Because the Qiling Holy Body's inheritance is incomplete and dangerous to cultivate without guidance, Wu Qingyao recommends Kasyapa Temple. Abbess Ling Sang recognizes Nan Xiaopao's constitution and accepts her as a disciple. 73 74
