A Narrow Escape

Within the formation, great quantities of snowflakes drifted down from the sky as gusts of frigid wind swept through.

The snowflakes danced in the wind, then blurred and transformed into three-foot-long white ice swords that rained down upon Li Hong and Zheng Ru.

Zheng Ru's willow brows furrowed tightly as she waved the Blue Command Flag in her hand. Countless profound blue runes lit up across its surface, and specks of blue light emerged, forming a rushing blue river that circled them without cease. Loud sounds of flowing water rang out, and waves of air surged like the tide.

The moment the dense white ice swords came within thirty meters of them, they were shattered by the powerful airwaves, turning into countless white shards of ice.

A fierce gale rose, and countless white snowflakes gathered in one place, transforming into two white giants over thirty meters tall. Their outlines were crude, their expressions wooden, and their limbs thick and massive, as though they had been carved from two enormous blocks of ice.
