Ye Xin began as a rogue cultivator who made her living hunting demon beasts alongside her younger sister, Ye Xue. She served as deputy captain of their hunting team, whose need for talismans led to a long-running business relationship with Han Changming. In exchange for discounted first-rank talismans, she supplied him with intelligence, including information on Green-Eyed Fish Demons. 33

Observant and cautious, Ye Xin deduced that “Fellow Daoist Hu” was concealing more than he admitted and correctly suspected that he had deliberately arranged their meeting at Chen Family Noodle Shop. She later recognized that he was likely connected to the Han Clan. 80 81

After becoming Han Changming's wife, Ye Xin sought a path that would allow her to contribute independently rather than rely on hunting or become “a decorative vase.” Unable to match Ye Xue's talent in talisman-making, she chose to study formations.
