"Shoo, shoo! What's all this Tian Lan and Qiu Lan nonsense?" Si Yao shuddered in disgust. Qian Min snickered. "I didn't say anything wrong!
"Senior never said he would only take you as his disciple. It's perfectly normal for him to take others."
"I'm not ready for this yet. Besides, Bolan lost to me." Si Yao folded her arms, looking indignant.
"Just thinking about him becoming my junior brother and having to call me eldest senior sister gives me the creeps." Imagining Bolan, whose face was as cold as a corpse's, addressing her as senior sister whenever they met made Si Yao shiver. She no longer thought he was so easy to get along with.
He looked like a respectable fellow, but when he started poaching someone else's master, he swung that shovel so fast it left afterimages!
Shameless!
"He isn't your junior brother yet. Didn't Senior give him a test? He only becomes one if he passes," Qian Min said.
"Much as I hate to admit it, Bolan really is talented." Si Yao sighed. "What test could possibly stop him?"
"Good point." Qian Min rubbed her chin, feeling that Si Yao was right.
Even her teacher praised Bolan's talent endlessly. A Venerable had even said outright that, provided he came to his senses and stopped stubbornly fixating on the Time Law, he had a slim chance of becoming a Space Venerable.
After Bolan came to his senses, his strength had undergone a dramatic transformation, just as everyone had predicted. In barely a dozen years, he had passed the seventh level of the Universe Bridge. By the time he left the Initial Universe, passing the eighth level might well be possible.
With talent like that, he could even become a Venerable's disciple. Senior had probably only given him a test
