"The alien team belongs to the Monster Race's Pixui clan. Prepare to engage—"

Dongluo's voice rang in everyone's ears. A moment later, astonishing fluctuations came from the distant sky, clearly signaling that the Immortals on both sides had begun to clash.

A vast army of more than ten thousand beasts appeared in the valley ahead. The Pixui resembled lions, but were far larger, and horns grew from their heads. Some had one horn, some two, and others three.

Tan Youming's memories contained information about this race. Bai Muye quickly sent a mental message: "Pixui can range from dozens to hundreds of meters in size. The larger they are, the stronger they are. Universe Rank Pixui have one horn, Domain Lords have two, and World Lords have three. "Despite their size, they're not slow. Be especially careful of their tails..." Zhan Qiu added, looking at Bai Muye in surprise.

The two sides soon collided. Despite the enormous difference in size, the humans weren't at a disadvantage.

Both sides' World Lords had tacitly taken their battle to higher altitudes, leaving the lower sky and the ground to the Domain Lords and Universe Ranks.

Bai Muye and Zhan Qiu stood side by side at the front of their squad, facing the beasts charging toward them.

"Captain, I'll hold off their Domain Lords. Can you take care of the Universe Ranks?" Bai Muye sent her a mental message.

"Sure." Zhan Qiu nodded, then added, "Don't push yourself. If you can't hold them off, call for me immediately..."

"Don't worry, Captain."

Bai Muye spread his domain forward in a fan shape. After reaching Domain Lord Rank, the power of his Mixed Domain had grown dozens of times greater than it had been at Universe Rank.

As his domain expanded, it clashed with the opposing domains. Dozens of Pixui beasts were immediately suppressed, their movements slowing as if they were mired in mud.

Universe Ranks were already incredibly fast, let alone Domain Lords. As the two armies drew close, both sides instinctively scattered to avoid being surrounded.

Bai Muye, wielding the Three-Pointed Double-Edged Spear, met an exceptionally burly beast. From several thousand meters away, the two horns on its head each fired an attack: one a wind blade, the other a bolt of lightning.

The lightning struck in an instant. Bai Muye shifted his spear blade slightly and knocked it apart, then swung his weapon and cleaved the wind blade in two.

Those two attacks gave Bai Muye a good idea of his opponent's strength. This Pixui Beast was probably around seventh or eighth level Domain Lord Rank. It was a fight he could win.

The several-thousand-meter gap vanished in an instant. Bai Muye channeled Origin Energy and swung one hand. A spear beam shot from the blade's tip, rapidly growing longer as it flew. Dozens of meters long and dazzlingly bright, it pierced through the domain and slashed toward the beast's house-sized head.

"Roar!"

The Pixui Beast whipped its head from side to side and swung its horns, knocking the spear beam away. Though deflected, it retained its momentum and shot behind the beast, cleaving a Universe Rank Pixui Beast in half.

Enraged, that Pixui Beast kicked all four hooves against the air. With its horned head at the tip and its tail stretched rigidly behind it, its entire body turned into a spear and shot toward Bai Muye.

It had turned its body into a spear!

The technique was remarkably profound. If Bai Muye dodged, his teammates behind him would likely suffer.

He gave a soft snort and concentrated his domain's power on the Domain Lord Rank Pixui Beast. Its speed immediately dropped for a moment.

After breaking through to Domain Lord Rank, Bai Muye had gained a deeper understanding of domains. He had finally managed to fully integrate the domains of water and fire, which he had never quite been able to combine before.

The power of all eight domains fully integrated was astonishing. Bai Muye felt that few Domain Lords could match his domain.

With his domain unleashed at full strength, the eight layers of domain around the Pixui Beast collapsed. The interwoven domains seemed to form a nearly transparent net that enveloped it.

The "Pixui Spear" still managed to break through, but its speed had already dropped to a level that even a Universe Rank could easily handle. The domain net had also diminished its power by nine-tenths.

Bai Muye thrust his spear at the spot between the Pixui Beast's two horns, but at the last moment, the beast blocked the strike with one of them.

A metallic clang rang out. The Pixui Beast was sent flying backward by the force of the blow. Bai Muye pursued it and leveled his Three-Pointed Double-Edged Spear.

This time, the Pixui Beast couldn't dodge completely. The spear tip struck its skull.

"Argh!"

The Pixui Beast let out an angry roar. The Three-Pointed Double-Edged Spear was a fifth-tier weapon, but Bai Muye was only a first-level Domain Lord and couldn't bring out its full power. The tip had only pierced the beast's hide and lodged against its skull.

The wound on the surface wasn't too serious, but waves of force from the spear tip penetrated straight into its mind.

A Domain Lord's soul resided inside a Singularity, so even a headshot wasn't enough to kill one. But the waves of force surging into the beast's mind still shook its Consciousness Sea, leaving it staggering as if drunk.

Bai Muye pressed his advantage, attacking relentlessly with the Three-Pointed Double-Edged Spear. Sometimes he wielded it as a spear, sometimes as a halberd, a staff, or a saber...

Blow after blow landed on the Pixui Beast, leaving shocking wounds and splattering its blood.

But the Pixui Beast truly deserved its eighth-level Domain Lord Rank. Its body was incredibly tough, and the Monster Race prized physical strength above all. With its Consciousness Sea still in turmoil, it abandoned its attack and tensed every muscle and bone, greatly increasing its physical defense. Driven by instinct, it also dodged several lethal strikes.

When it finally recovered from the dizziness, it realized in horror that there was hardly an uninjured spot on its massive body. Its two front hooves were wounded down to the bone and nearly useless.

"Roar!"

It roared again, but this time it didn't attack. Instead, it turned and fled.

Bai Muye extended his left hand. A flash of light appeared within his domain, coalescing into a rope that swept toward the Pixui Beast's neck.

Sensing the deadly threat posed by the Domain Rope, the Pixui Beast had no choice but to dodge to the side. Its speed inevitably faltered.

Bai Muye flashed forward and was beside it in an instant.

A fierce glint flashed in the Pixui Beast's eyes. It lowered its head, raised its hind hooves, and kicked backward—Mountain-Kicking Backflip!

It was the beast's signature move. Its power was tremendous, and it was incredibly fast.

Fortunately, Bai Muye had held some strength in reserve. He arched his upper body backward and narrowly evaded the attack.

"Whoosh!"

Before the Pixui Beast could lower its hind hooves, the long tail that had hung between its hind legs suddenly lashed out, whipping toward Bai Muye's head. It was even faster and more vicious than the Mountain-Kicking Backflip!

Bai Muye had no time to dodge. At the critical moment, he spread the five fingers of his left hand. The Domain Rope instantly retracted, then unfurled around his palm, forming a Domain Shield in front of his head.

This was another ability Bai Muye had only learned after reaching Domain Lord Rank. It was far more versatile than his previous method of turning his domain into a whip.

With a muffled thud, the Domain Shield shattered, but the Pixui Beast's tail was knocked upward as well.

Having exhausted its signature moves, the Pixui Beast was struck by an absurd feeling. These two techniques had killed countless enemies for it, or at the very least allowed it to escape powerful foes unscathed.

Yet the human it had encountered today was impossibly troublesome. Though he was only a first-level Domain Lord, his domain was astonishingly powerful, and the weapon in his hands filled the beast with fear.

With its back to Bai Muye, it raced toward the rear of its own ranks without looking back.

But it was already too late to escape.

Bai Muye flicked his left hand. The Domain Shield in his palm stretched out in an instant, and a Domain Whip appeared above the beast's head as if by Teleportation. It cracked down!

The Pixui Beast could almost hear the bones in its skull breaking. The pain made its vision go black. Before it could react, Bai Muye had appeared in front of it.

The last thing it saw was a spear-like weapon piercing the existing wound in its forehead. Then the force that had seeped into its body shattered the Singularity within it. Its vision went black, and it plunged into eternal darkness.
