Yet every surge was instantly sucked dry by the seed at the center of the Internal World!

Around the outer edge of the circular continent, eight more continents formed in eight directions. Each was one million kilometers in diameter, and each naturally took on a trapezoidal shape.

Between the continents, boundless seas began to form.

Then the seed began to grow upward, gradually rising from the soil.

The Little Sapling was entirely black, from its roots and trunk to its leaves.
