Qian Renxue rescues the banished and injured Ye Yuan in the Soul Beast Forest, brings him to a prepared medicinal bath, and states that she has dealt with the Soul Ancestors following him. Although she initially withholds her motives, she guides him toward recovery and strength rather than allowing him to return prematurely to Star Luo Imperial City. 3 4

She directs Ye Yuan to an injured Man Faced Demon Spider for his first soul ring, remains hidden so the beast will not destroy itself, and guards him while he absorbs the thousand-year ring. Her unusual certainty that Ye Yuan can survive the absorption suggests knowledge she does not openly explain. 4 5
