Background

Tang San is a blue-haired Shrek Academy student who seeks to market his Tang Sect hidden weapons to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. He carries the Godly Zhuge Crossbow in his Twenty-Four Bridge Moonlight Night and expects its unfamiliar design to give him a decisive commercial advantage. 32

His relationship with the Martial Soul Hall is already irreconcilable because his mother, the Blue Silver Emperor, sacrificed herself; Ye Yuan regards joining Qian Renxue and the Martial Soul Hall as making him Tang San's enemy. 5

He approaches decisions pragmatically and often through personal benefit. He initially refuses Xiao Wu’s request to purchase the enslaved cat-woman because she would not help their cultivation, then agrees only after Xiao Wu says she may consider becoming his younger sister. 33

Tang San sees Ning Fengzhi at an auction as a solution to his lack of weapon-making funds. He offers the Godly Zhuge Crossbow, but his proposed price and demands offend Ning Fengzhi and Gu Rong. 32

The auction comparison ends in a public defeat: the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect’s crossbow Soul Tool destroys Tang San’s weapon and demonstrates dramatically greater penetration. 32

Cat-Woman Auction

Xiao Wu asks Tang San to save an enslaved cat-woman whom she believes may share her nature as a soul beast. Tang San bids 400,000 Soul Coins, later raises his bid to 550,000, and is ultimately outbid by Ye Yuan’s offer of 1,000,000 Soul Coins. 33

Tang San attempts to use the Purple Demon Eye to identify the VIP bidder, but Ye Yuan’s golden-eyed spiritual attack suppresses him. 33
