Xu Tinglan and Jiang Nannan's Enrollment

Xu Tinglan selects Sun Moon Academy because it accepts people regardless of lineage and offers him the best environment to pursue Soul Tool development, forging, and the fusion of yin-yang metals. Jiang Nannan follows him after learning of the academy’s support for commoners and its Soul Tool curriculum. 2 3

Upon their arrival in Ming Capital, Lin Jiayi personally receives them, awards their referral payment, and completes their enrollment. Both receive uniforms and dormitory assignments, while Mother Jiang is accommodated through academy staff housing. 5 6

Marquis Jing's Incursion

Marquis Jing mobilizes private troops and attempts to force his way into Sun Moon Academy while pursuing a female student. Lin Jiayi confronts him at the academy, but the conflict escalates into Xu Jing’s later attack on the campus. 36 37

Continental Youth Soul Master Tournament

The academy organizes and supports the Sun Moon Team’s challenge for a place in the Continental Youth Soul Master Tournament. After Xu Tinglan defeats Ma Rulong, Elder Ma makes him captain and appoints Ma Rulong vice-captain. 42 46

The team defeats Star Nebula Academy, Tianming Academy, Dio Academy, and ultimately Shrek Academy. Its combination of long-range Soul Tool firepower, defensive formations, and coordinated tactics earns Sun Moon Academy the championship. 52 82 86 96

Following the victory, Mingde Hall’s Level 9 Soul Masters register Xu Tinglan, Xiao Hongchen, and Meng Hongchen as members of Mingde Hall and award the team access to Level 7 Soul Tools and other resources. 105

Shrek Exchange Program

Sun Moon Academy and Shrek Academy establish a two-and-a-half-year exchange program with ten students from each side. Sun Moon students may enter Shrek’s Inner Court, while Shrek students receive access to Mingde Hall and selected core knowledge. 118 124

The academy’s physical-testing equipment immediately reveals abnormal physical data among the Shrek visitors, complicating Huo Yuhao’s disguise. 127 128

When Huo Yuhao and Fan Yu secretly copy core-array blueprints, Jing Hongchen and Xu Tinglan track the operation, search the exchange students’ quarters, and uncover the hidden documents. Fan Yu is brought in for investigation, while Mingde Hall demands compensation for the stolen technology. 145 147 148

Later Conflict with Shrek

During a later confrontation with Shrek, Vice-Principal Xu Tinglan uses reconciliation as a ruse to lower Huo Yuhao’s guard before killing him. The Sun Moon Academy delegation withdraws afterward, and Shrek does not pursue them. 170
