The exchange students reached Ming Capital, where Xu Tinglan confronted Huo Yuhao after his physical test revealed his strength.

• Huo Yuhao conceded to Xu Tinglan, giving the Sun Moon Team the championship, and later accepted Xu Jiujiu’s Divine Pill as Shrek reeled from its defeat.
• Back at Sun Moon Academy, Xu Tinglan received major rewards, asked Snow Empress about an Ice Jade Scorpion Soul Bone, and learned that Kong Deming had obtained one for her.
• Xu Tinglan convinced Jing Hongchen to pursue a divined opportunity in Star Dou Forest, where Jing killed a Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear and let Xu Tinglan keep its External Soul Bone.
• Xu Tinglan and Jing Hongchen killed Dai Huabin, Zhu Lu, and Cui Yajie, then captured the Emperor Auspicious Beast and exchanged memories before returning it to Di Tian.

Xu Tinglan uncovered Huo Yuhao’s covert copying of Soul Tool blueprints, then left the academy to fight for Sun Moon after riots and rebellion spread across the empire. He joined the Mingdou front and plunged into the Star Luo Soul Master formation.

• Xu Tinglan defeated Ye Xiaosheng and Huo Yuhao in sparring matches, then Jing Hongchen revealed that he knew Huo Yuhao was disguised as Mu Qing and planned to trap him with false Core Arrays.

• After Xu Tinglan defeated Huo Yuhao’s Gemini clone, Shrek withdrew from the team battle, and Xu Tianran revealed that he had sealed Ming Capital ahead of a planned attack.
• The Sun Moon Team and Tang Sect advanced to the semifinals, where Xiao Hongchen defeated Beibei and Xu Tinglan stopped Dai Luoli’s attack on him.
