Sakayanagi Arisu and Yamamura Miki had gone in before them and were already inside. Uesugi Hara and Kamuro Masumi waited outside.
The wait was a little boring. Uesugi Hara took a sip of his drink, and his gaze naturally fell on Kamuro Masumi.
"Hey, Kamuro," he asked, "what are you planning to have divined later?"
"I haven't decided yet." Kamuro Masumi's answer was brief, her gaze somewhat unfocused.
"It's almost our turn, and you still haven't decided?"
"Have you decided what you're going to ask?" she shot back immediately.
"Of course." Uesugi Hara smiled. "I'll ask about what most people are interested in—romance."
"Romance?" Kamuro Masumi looked at him as if she had heard something unbelievable, her eyes full of suspicion. "You're interested in that sort of thing?"
In her impression, Uesugi Hara was always indifferent to everything. No matter how she looked at him, he did not seem like someone who would be interested in romance.
Seeing the expression on her face that practically said, "You've got to be kidding me," Uesugi Hara found it rather amusing.
"If you don't believe me, just wait and see."
Kamuro Masumi frowned, wanting to ask something more, when the curtain of the fortune-telling booth was lifted. Sakayanagi Arisu and Yamamura Miki came out.
Yamamura Miki wore a somewhat complicated expression, as though she were pondering something, while Sakayanagi Arisu still had that elegant smile on her face.
"It's your turn now," Sakayanagi Arisu said to Uesugi Hara and Kamuro Masumi.
Kamuro Masumi took a deep breath, as though she had made some sort of decision, and went in first. Uesugi Hara shrugged and followed her inside.
