Uesugi Hara reluctantly left his room without having used many of the tricks he had up his sleeve.
The fragile little girl's body couldn't take any more of his rough treatment.
He'd let her off for now.
It was already noon, and he'd barely eaten anything over the past couple of days. He'd better get something to eat first.
But before that, there was one more thing to take care of.
"Kushida, may I ask what you want?"
"Uesugi, long time no see~" Kushida Kikyo stood at the corner of the hallway, wearing a sweet smile. There was no way this was a chance encounter. It looked more like she'd been waiting specifically for him.
"A coincidence? I think someone tracked me down using my location."
As he spoke, Uesugi Hara took out his Terminal and waved it.
Kushida Kikyo immediately put on a surprised expression, her pretty eyes widening. "Huh! It can do that? That's the first I've heard of it!"
Keep acting, then. Uesugi Hara didn't call her out. He just stared at her silently, his eyes practically saying, "Let's see what you come up with."
Kushida Kikyo didn't seem embarrassed. She smiled and changed the subject. "Are you going to get something to eat, Uesugi? Want me to treat you?"
Uesugi Hara grumbled to himself: The food at the Cruise Restaurant is free anyway. Why would I need you to treat me?
"Not this time. You can treat me when we get back to school. I prefer the food in the school cafeteria."
With that, Uesugi Hara headed toward the restaurant.
