"That won't be necessary. My quota for envoys is already full. I recently found one in the Wind Divine Plane." Lincoln looked at Hela with mild surprise. "Aren't you going to stop me, my lady? After all, the Darkness Divine Plane has won eight consecutive battles!"

Hela smiled unconcernedly. "One or two Asuras won't decide the outcome of the Plane War. Besides, the Darkness Divine Plane is on the Underworld's side, so it wouldn't be good to interfere now. Once you truly reach nine consecutive wins, all the Sovereigns will work together to stop you. Are you confident the Darkness Divine Plane can win nine in a row?"

Lincoln just smiled. "I don't mind. I'll do what I can and leave the rest to fate."

"Roman, being this late isn't like you," Vivian said with a smile. "Lincoln asked you to help him research Bloodline Awakening. You should hurry over tomorrow."

"He's really lucky," Roman sighed. "A few years ago, I discovered traces of that Life Sovereign Spark, but after searching for years, I still couldn't find it. That's why I was delayed. Have you found anything, Lady Vivian?"

"So that's what happened." Vivian sighed too. "Ever since Daomei fell, I've been searching for that Life Lesser Sovereign Spark for you. Unfortunately, I still haven't found anything. The Sovereigns of the Life element haven't all returned to their places yet, so you still have a chance."

Seeing the dejected look on Roman's face, Vivian understood. Anyone who had worked hard for countless years only to see someone who had started out weaker suddenly obtain what they had sought their whole life would struggle to accept it. What was more, even if Roman obtained a Sovereign Spark one day, it would only be a Low-Sovereign Spark, leaving him a hundred times weaker than someone with a Mid-level Sovereign Spark.

"How confident are you that you can research Bloodline Awakening for Lincoln?" Vivian asked.

"I shouldn't have any trouble," Roman replied at once. "I understand the Ancestral Hall Baptism of the Four Divine Beasts Clan, so I can understand his as well."

Daniel and his wife, Luna, had just completed another Fate-Knower mission. They returned to the city to unwind and enjoy life.

Fate-Knower was the title used in Heaven for those corresponding to the "Fiends" of Hell. After cultivating for a hundred thousand years, Daniel had long since become a Highgod and reached the Five-Star Fate-Knower level. Luna, to everyone's surprise, had become a god in both the Light Element and Death Rules. She was currently a Highgod in the Death Rules, while, following Aier's advice, she was trying to fuse profound mysteries while still a Mid-God in the Laws of Light, rather than rushing to become a Highgod.

Luna picked up a piece of Evil Fire Phoenix Liver and placed it in Daniel's bowl. "That was too close. If Big Brother Teluzake hadn't arrived in time, there was no way the two of us could have escaped Nagadi's pursuit before our Sovereign's Might ran out."

"Yeah. Nagada even had Sovereign's Might, and he was stronger than us to begin with. We couldn't hold him off at all. We've used up all our Sovereign's Might. We'll have to be more careful on missions from now on." Daniel furrowed his brow. "I wonder who Big Brother Teluzake really is. His Sovereign's Might seems inexhaustible. Could he be a Sovereign's child?"

"Maybe. I've heard that even Sovereign Envoys can't use Sovereign's Might like that." Luna followed Daniel's line of thought. "We're not doing too badly ourselves. It would be great if we could find Father and Mother, but they disappeared after Harry grew up and they left the Red Cloud Fragrance Material Plane. Unfortunately, we're still too weak. Meanwhile, on the Chainis Plane, Lincoln finally welcomed Roman, a Paragon High-God of the Life Law. Seeing the proud, composed Paragon standing before him, Lincoln felt as if a weight had been lifted from his heart.

"Mr. Roman, you've finally arrived. I've been anxiously waiting," Lincoln said with a smile. Daniel had taken tens of thousands of years to become a Highgod, and reaching the Six-Star level in Fate-Knower would already be a good outcome for him. Lincoln didn't expect him to become an Asura.

"My apologies, Sovereign. I was tied up in something I couldn't get away from, and only recently learned you were looking for me," Roman said calmly. "Lady Vivian told me what you need. You want to research Bloodline Awakening and awaken your children's talents, correct?"

"That's right." Lincoln became even more enthusiastic. "I've already made some progress through my research on Milotic. I successfully awakened bloodline talents in the descendants of a single-element Divine Beast. But as you know, I'm a Multi-Element Divine Beast. My talents are numerous, and the situation is complicated, so I haven't made any further progress."

"Your situation is indeed complicated, Sovereign. If you want your children to awaken talents in multiple elements just like you, that's impossible. We can only adjust the bloodline crystals according to each child's individual circumstances and awaken a talent in one particular element." Roman paused. "Bloodline Awakening means the talent is already within them, which is why it needs to be awakened. It doesn't mean adding a new elemental talent out of nowhere. So whether the awakening succeeds depends on the individual. It won't be the same for everyone."

"Milotic is indeed one of the few Divine Beasts that can awaken its bloodline abilities on its own. But there are others in the world with similar, even identical, circumstances, such as the Blue Lightning Gyarados. I've studied Milotic too, so I understand the situation. Since this involves your bloodline, Sovereign, I'll need you to cooperate with my research. If all goes well, we should make progress within ten thousand years," Roman continued in his calm manner.

Lincoln beamed. "Of course. Here are a thousand drops of Life Sovereign Power. Once the work is done, I'll reward you handsomely."

With that, he led Roman into the Laboratory Divine Plane.
