Just as Dark was about to leave, Professor Kazel suddenly spoke.
Dark's heart stirred. "Cecilia Doyle, who appeared in Chapter 555, is an outstanding first-year student of the Magister House. I don't know much about her grades in other subjects, but in mathematics, she ranks first in the Magister House."
"I remember the Doyle surname," Professor Kazel mused. "There's an old fellow in Sains with that surname."
Sains, the City of Knowledge—a place renowned for producing sages.
Dark was somewhat speechless. "So whose distinguished disciple is she this time?"
Professor Kazel shrugged. "Naturally, disciples of sages are assigned to the Magister House. And after the war ended, those old fellows seem to have become rather enthusiastic about training successors."
Dark rubbed his forehead, feeling troubled.

Adding those who were less famous, deliberately concealed their abilities, or were simply unknown to him, the number of sages' disciples could probably easily exceed ten.
Though he still did not know which sage Cecilia Doyle had inherited from, a sage's successor could not be underestimated. It was not impossible that she possessed some secret method for identifying gods.
"You don't need to worry about that. She probably isn't after the [God of Wisdom]," Professor Kazel said. "When she went to see Ergane, all she asked about were mathematical problems."
Dark thought for a moment. "If she only went to see her because she is a teaching assistant, then there's no need to stop her. By the way, Professor, do you know what exactly a god's
