Both duelists received their entry notifications from the Duel Club.
The two rose at once and almost simultaneously pushed their doors open. When they saw each other, both were slightly taken aback.
Dark was not actually familiar with the appearance of Matthew the [Striker], but under such a coincidence, he immediately began to
speculate.
Matthew the [Striker], however, had paid much more attention to him. He grinned and said, "Hello, junior Dimon."
Dark lowered his gaze and smiled. "Good evening, senior. So it's finally our turn."
"Yes." Matthew nodded and pointed to one side of the passage. "Which way are you going?"
Dark pointed to the other side. "That way."
Matthew smiled. "Then I'll see you shortly."
With that, he turned sharply and strode away.
Dark paused slightly, a faint doubt arising in his heart.
This Matthew Bilbom gave him an indescribable feeling—something difficult to put into words.
"What exactly is it?" he murmured, turning toward the entrance to the duelist passage on the other side.
Perhaps he would find the answer to that doubt in the duel.
At 8:27, both duelists stepped onto their Duelist Platforms.
Dark Dimon stood on the Red Side, while Matthew Bilbom stood on the Blue Side.
The moment they appeared, cheers from their respective supporters rang out beyond the arena.
The cheers for Dark Dimon displayed an overwhelming advantage.
Yet Matthew's expression did not change in the slightest.
Though he excelled at offense, he was not a Knight Academy student branded as a [Reckless Brute], but a student of Fool House.
Standing on the Duelist Platform, Matthew Bilbom had blackish-gray hair and lighter-colored eyes. His features were rather deep-set, his body lean and tall, and his overall appearance fairly ordinary.
Thus, most of his supporters were drawn to his relentless, all-out offensive style.
