He had no intention of waiting for the God-Devouring Beast to reveal its intentions before acting. He immediately spoke, issuing it a compulsory command.
"Lie down!"
The God-Devouring Beast, which had clearly been about to pounce and kill, forcibly twisted its posture in the next instant and obediently lay on the ground.
"Aleister Eldritch."
Dark stared into its eyes and slowly called its name.
The instant Demon King Eldritch revealed its true form, Dark had already sensed its complete transformation.
Thanks to his prior suspicions, he had not been caught off guard by a sneak attack.
The part of Demon King Eldritch's consciousness that possessed memories had indeed resided within its true form.
Only when it transformed into the God-Devouring Beast could it awaken from its slumber.
When it was not in its true form, however, it sank into dreams, just as it had when controlled by the Nightmare Mud Crystal.
