Rather than asking overly pointed questions, she merely asked Pandora why, in her higher-year challenge, she had chosen Noah Sharp, the strongest sixth-year student—when challenging either of the other two contestants would have earned her the same number of points.
Pandora smiled faintly and said, "Perhaps I simply wanted to bring things to an end. Once Noah Sharp graduates, it will be difficult for me to find another opponent among the upper years who can give me a proper fight."
Perhaps she would not even participate in the next Academy Cup.
