So she continued, "For long journeys through the desert, transportation is essential. I can operate sand sleds."
Dark nodded slightly. That was a point in her favor.
A sand sled was a means of transportation that resembled a sleigh in appearance. Its core was a special power device that absorbed grit from the ground and released it through pipes, causing the sled's chassis to merge with the earth as though it were moving across water.
However, operating a sand sled required the ability to "control sand and dust." In other words, the driver was the true source of power.
Not every member of the Sand Tribe could handle a sand sled.
