Being able to chase a star on the dueling stage felt like a dream.
Although she had only lasted one round before losing in the end, she could still say afterward that she had dueled on the same stage as her idol. It was bound to make others green with envy.
In any case, it was no loss!
Pandora Doragon seemed to have merely taken a lap around the stage. After making a brief appearance on the dueling field, she stepped onto the host platform.
While casually dealing with Judy's interview, she gazed boredly toward the audience.
"I hope the next opponent can be a little more stimulating."
With that, she turned and left the host platform to rejoin her companions.
"Our academy won again, just as expected."
"But for some reason, I don't really feel happy about it." "You feel that way too?"
"Yeah."
"As expected, matches without any suspense are still unsatisfying to watch." "Indeed. Too many one-sided stomps get boring."
"Perhaps this is what they mean by loneliness at the top."
The Saint Marian Academy students chatted idly in the stands, mechanically clapping after each duel ended.
Their opponents were simply too weak, leaving even the spectators with no interest. Out of the entire morning's matches, only the duel between Slyke Holmes and Quintina Noss had been somewhat worth watching. The rest had been utterly meaningless.
They were so bored that they had already begun picking opponents for Saint Marian Academy.
The second match.
Sky Magic Guidance Academy VS Elven Spell Academy!
"It's finally starting. Hopefully this match will be a bit more exciting." Dark perked up and reminded the people around him that the match was about to begin.
Diana and the others hurried to gather by the window, clustering together to watch the contestants enter.
