She made no attempt to hide her loathing for the Holy Church.
Dark smiled. "What binds them is most likely the Divine Origin of the holy."
Pandora said, "Then they'll have to cross that hurdle first." The Holy Church had been founded upon faith in "the holy," to the point that even something that should not have existed at all—the Divine Origin of the holy—had come into being.
This benefited the Holy Church's gathering of faith.
Because it finally gave the Holy Church's faith something to depend upon, a true "core" belonging to the Holy Church.
However, the birth of the "Divine Origin," the existence of that core, also gave the Holy Church a "belonging."
Although the "Divine Origin" possessed no divine soul, consciousness, or body, apart from those things, it was a god.
And since a god already existed, the Holy Church's overall structure was no different from a "divine kingdom."
In other words, it had already taken the form of a divine kingdom.
Everyone in the Holy Church was tacitly recognized by the world's rules as a citizen of the divine kingdom of the holy.
