In almost an instant, his spiritual perception shot high into the sky, giving him the sensation of looking down upon everything from above.
His heart tightened, and he immediately suppressed that sensation, perceiving the [Sky Scepter]'s abilities from a clearer perspective.
Then, his toes left the ground, and his entire body naturally began to float.
With a thought, he began moving freely through the air.
"First, the ability to fly."
"Second, the ability to control the wind."
"Lastly, a god's-eye view."
Dark almost immediately distinguished the three abilities possessed by the [Sky Scepter].
Of those three abilities, the third was the most useless, yet it was also the one containing the most Zeus elements.
As the thought passed through his mind, Dark turned to Laura and asked, "Does it have any offensive abilities?"
However, Laura merely shook her head slightly. "This scepter could be called a divine artifact of the wind. It greatly enhances wind-element magic and can manipulate the wind to form all kinds of attacks, but it doesn't seem to possess anything like an Ultimate Move inherent to the scepter itself."
Dark could not help but frown.
If that was all, then the [Sky Scepter] would be of very little use to him.
However, the [Sky Scepter] had been discovered by Laura's team in the first place. By both sentiment and reason, it belonged to Laura and the others as spoils of war.
—Since it was not his, he had nothing to say about it.
Thus, he withdrew his magic power, returned the [Sky Scepter] to the form of a diamond-shaped gemstone, and placed it back into the box.
"The filth within this scepter has yet to be purified. If you need it, I can help."
But Laura had clearly prepared for this long ago.
She spoke directly.
