Some God's Chosen may have learned a few things by asking their own gods, but the information they obtained was quite limited.
This time, Dark had no intention of making [Plant God]'s identity public.
He merely brought her over so the family members could familiarize themselves with her face and know that she was one of their own.
"So, what is this new family member's name?" Alvitr asked directly, looking quite interested.
Dark smiled. This time, he had come prepared. "Adonia. Adonia Dimon."
Adonia was the [God of Spring Vegetation] from Greek mythology. Though he was a beautiful young man, [Plant God] herself had no gender, so there was no major issue with using that name for her.
But Alvitr mercilessly rejected it. "Wouldn't Anya be better? It's cuter than Adonia and sounds more like a little girl's name."
"Indeed." Claire smiled happily.
Dark felt she was targeting him. But with the vote at two to one, he could only admit defeat.
Thus, [Plant God]'s name was ultimately set as Anya. Its written form leaned more feminine, though the pronunciation remained unchanged.
And so, at the end of that year, on the night before crossing into the next, the Dimon Family officially welcomed another new member. Her name was Anya Dimon.
Only after settling on the name did Alvitr and Claire suddenly realize that the more they looked at Anya's face, the more familiar it seemed. In particular, once her individual features were considered separately, that sense of familiarity grew even stronger.
Though Dark had done it entirely unintentionally, all he could do at that point was change the subject.
In the study, he began going over Anya's abilities with his mother and teacher, as well as the benefits her existence would bring to the future of [Magic Guidance City].
