"The truth of the dream world could not yet be confirmed, but the Magitech Card Sherlock used during the House Sorting Ceremony was worth studying."
It was a card of fate, a Magitech Card capable of faintly touching the tracks of fate. Using that Magitech Card for House sorting had actually been a necessary ritual.
Its ultimate purpose was to transform that Magitech Card into a magister's [Key of Fate].
Then, by using the Magitech Card that had been transformed into a [Key of Fate], a magister could open the door to the Path of Stars ahead of time and obtain a personal star path of their own.
After obtaining a personal star path, the magister could use the Magitech Card, transformed once more into a [Star Fate Card], to complete a Transform involving the mind, soul, and fate.
In other words, that was the [Role Card] of that world!
With that thought, Dark's mind began racing.
He had already noticed the contradiction within the [Role Card]—in other words, the [Life Card].
In a world inhabited by races such as elves, orcs, giants, dragons, and vampires, all of whom possessed extraordinary powers, transforming with a [Role Card] could instead cause a magister's personal combat strength to plummet. This upside-down phenomenon was full of unknowable contradictions.
Yet the "interface" that naturally existed within the magitech system implied that [Role Cards] had originally been an indispensable part of magitech.
From this, he inferred that magitech had most likely not been created by Merlin, but had originated from another world!
"Another world!"
Dark's gaze deepened in an instant.
The world he had experienced in his dream contained no orcs, no elves, no giants, and no dragons. There were only humans.
All extraordinary creatures existed only in legends and stories, not in the real
