Later, with the adventurers' help, the station's residents exterminated and drove out all the monsters within the city, cleared away the ruins, and rebuilt the walls. Only then did Station No. 10 become what it was today.
Besides being the largest adventurer station on the Black Soil, Station No. 10 was also a testing ground for the Free City. In order to truly develop the Black Soil, the Free City had continually researched ways to grow crops there, but with very little success. There was no sign that they would succeed at all.
After showing his adventurer's badge, Dark entered through the main gate and headed straight for the tavern at Station No. 10, where the Adventurers' Guild branch was located.
When Dark entered the tavern, someone in its center was vividly recounting the plot of a television drama starring Apollo.
The speaker was a rather youthful-looking Bard, with regular features and fair, delicate skin, drawing many heated looks from the adventurers.
Of course, even more adventurers were seriously listening to him recount the melodramatic tale unfolding in that drama.
Watching Apollo's television dramas had become the biggest craze in human society. Even on the Black Soil, where there were no televisions, they had caused quite a stir.
In truth, the Bard telling the story had only watched one or two episodes in the Free City before entering the Black Soil.
