Gatomon simply sat down on the stone stool beside Dark, spread her book open on the stone table, and read.
But her gaze was still drawn from time to time to the Magic Spirits rolling about in the snow.
"Go play."
Dark said gently.
Gatomon struggled for a moment, then solemnly closed her picture book, stuffed it into her backpack, and with a "meow," pounced toward the snowballs!
Cats liked round things. It was an inborn instinct.
"Right."
Dark finally remembered Meowth.
He beckoned to Ditto.
"Ditto."
Ditto shuffled over while holding Trash Slime.
Dark took Trash Slime from its arms. Then he removed [Meowth] from the "swaddling cloth" and activated the Normal Summoning Technique.
"Meow!"
Having finally seen the light of day again, Meowth immediately threw back its head and meowed at the sky.
All its pent-up frustration was released.
Then it dropped onto all fours and lunged toward where Gatomon was.
The two cats rolled about among the snowballs.
Dark placed the thermos into the "swaddling cloth," letting Trash Slime cling to it, and then said to Ditto, "You can rest easy now, right?"
"Ditto!"
Ditto immediately cried out happily. Then its body naturally transformed, gradually changing from its slime form into a
Meowth, before turning and pouncing toward Meowth and Gatomon.
The sight of three cats rolling around in the snow drew countless gazes.
"So nice."
Rose held her familiar rabbit and could not help showing an envious expression.
After stuffing her cheeks full of snacks, Diana climbed down from the stone stool and ran off with a giggle toward the three cats, who had already started a snowball fight.
The Panda Familiar, wrapped up tightly in little clothes, was ruthlessly abandoned on the table.
For a time.
Beneath the clear sky.
Upon the snowy ground.
