Professor Sylph stopped as well.
Moonlight spilled over her pale golden hair, making her seem almost otherworldly.
After some consideration, she said, "This matter still requires careful deliberation. The Invisible Man's existence remains a problem, but since it never appeared even up until Vampire Vlad's soul perished, we can logically separate its purpose from Vlad's existence for the time being. If we want to lure it out now, I'm afraid we can only restart the 'Key' plan."
Dark shook his head slightly. "That plan is too obvious. Since even the incident with Vampire Vlad failed to draw it out, then either it is actually harmless, or it is someone extremely calculating. A fake key probably won't fool it."
Professor Sylph gave a faint cold laugh. "Then make a real one. Since Vampire Vlad has been proven not to be inside the secret passage, the passage cannot remain sealed forever."
After thinking for a moment, Dark suddenly had an idea. "Professor, I've always felt that making a key to break the secret passage's seal doesn't hold much meaning. How about making a set of keycards instead?"
Professor Sylph asked in surprise, "Keycards?"
Dark nodded. "Keycards. Only those holding a keycard can enter the secret passage. That would both prevent unforeseeable changes caused by too many people entering the passage and make effective use of its special nature. Just as you said, the secret passage is part of St. Marian. It cannot remain closed forever."
Professor Sylph pondered it carefully for a long while, looking thoughtful. "That does seem to be the case. All these years, not one of us thought of it from that angle."
Dark said, "It's probably a matter of perspective. From the professors' point of view, you would naturally be more worried about us students encountering danger in
