"But which professor should I seek out? Or would it be better to go to Sister Callian?"

As he walked, Dark mulled it over. Before long, he descended the stairs and arrived at the common room.

The magical lamps in the common room sensed someone's arrival and automatically lit up.

Without slowing in the slightest, he hurried through the lounge and reached the door. Then... he suddenly realized it was already late at night!

"What time is it?"

Dark abruptly turned to look at the clock on the wall.

The hour and minute hands were nearly overlapping. There was not much time left until the midnight curfew.

His expression changed at once, and he yanked open the tower's main doors.

Creak!

As the doors opened, the night wind howled inside.

Several Magic Spirits quietly shivered.

The Feathered Serpent Golem guarding the tower instantly opened its eyes, a faint ghostly light gleaming within them.

Sensing the golem's gaze, Dark raised the "Misdreavus" Magitech Card slightly and said in a low voice, "I'm looking for a professor. It's urgent."

The Feathered Serpent Golem's eyes flickered, and it slowly closed them again.

Dark immediately breathed a sigh of relief and strode onto the bridge.

He knew that after curfew, the Feathered Serpent Golem would not let him back inside. But since it was not yet midnight and he was only leaving, there was still room for negotiation.

As he walked, he examined the "Misdreavus" Magitech Card.

The light emitted by the card was no longer as intense as before. However, it was flashing much more rapidly, creating an overwhelming sense of urgency, as though something was brewing. If it was not dealt with in time, the future would become irreparable.

This only made his sense of urgency grow heavier.
