Dark had no idea that the number of people trailing behind him had suddenly surged. He continued exploring the Dungeon using the same method as before.
However, the fifth floor was much larger than the fourth. Using "Treasure Scent" made it difficult to find treasure chests, and he could only make gains when using "Greedy by Nature."
Even so, he maintained a pace of harvesting one treasure chest every hour or so.
By the end of the day, he had harvested one treasure chest on the fifth floor.
Two treasure chests on the sixth floor.
One treasure chest on the seventh floor.
Two treasure chests on the eighth floor.
And two treasure chests on the ninth floor.
By the time he finally found the entrance to the tenth floor, it was already past seven in the evening. He had harvested a total of eight treasure chests!
Though the treasures from those eight chests were not fundamentally different from those found on the first four floors, eight was still eight. Quantity was justice.
Dark had really opened them to his heart's content!
And Simon and the others following behind him had also enjoyed finding empty treasure chests to their hearts' content.
Dungeon, tenth floor—safe zone.
There were not many people staying on the tenth floor either. In fact, most people stayed in the safe zone on the eleventh floor, because nearly every team had a [Gate Key (11)].
Another Gate Key with much wider use was the [Gate Key (1)]!
After completing their adventures, students would use the [Gate Key (1)] to return directly to the safe zone on the first floor, saving nearly half the time.
When Dark arrived on the tenth floor of the Dungeon, there were only a few scattered people inside.
