Dark shook his head. "Halloween isn't here yet."
Angie immediately snapped, "What's wrong with doing it a little early? Dark, when did you become so rigid?"
But after saying that, she seemed to suddenly realize something and calmed down again.
Angie immediately cut in, "I've read the school rules. They don't prohibit giving gifts!"
Dark said flatly, "Giving gifts requires a reason too."

"I'll do it!" Anna immediately puffed out her chest.
Dark's mouth twitched. "Fine. If you can pay me back within a week, there won't be any interest. But I can't lend you too much."
Today was October 26th. Seven days meant until the afternoon of November 2nd next month.
Then she suddenly changed her expression, curling her lips into a smile. "Then I'll pay interest.
