This two-star "Magic Beast: Fantasy Sheep" had, just as Dark expected, undergone a tremendous improvement merely from being enhanced to two stars.
Used as Fusion Material, it could completely replace [Ditto (Blue-Eyes Baby Dragon)] or "Agumon" in fusion with the Blue-Eyes Baby Dragon itself.
Although this was not so easy to achieve in a Magister Duel due to the need for a "Fusion" card.
In actual combat, however, it could be used to swap out "Ditto"—allowing Ditto to serve a greater purpose.
Thus, the success of this "second refinement" could be called an unexpected delight.
But after this success, Dark discovered that the "second refinement" of this type of Fusion Material card lacked an extremely crucial element.
The primary reason he had succeeded in enhancing "Magic Beast: Fantasy Sheep" from one star to two was the addition of the "Fusion Factor."
He had obtained the formula for this Magic Potion from Senior Pandora during his first year.
But if he wished to advance any further, he would likely need some additional element beyond that.
If he could not find that element, he would probably find it very difficult to enhance "Magic Beast: Fantasy Sheep" to three stars.
By the same reasoning, the same was roughly true for other Fusion Materials.
This obstacle would be very difficult to overcome.
His guess was that he would likely need experience successfully refining "High Fusion" before he could make a breakthrough in this area.
The only fortunate thing was that "Magic Beast: Goddess of the Mind's Eye" only needed to be two stars to raise the designated target of "Angel Fusion" to the Third Tier.
This would be Dark's trump card in the future!
But for now, if he could refine "Magic Beast: Fusion Curse-Seal Creature? Light," "Magic Beast: Fusion Curse-Seal Creature? Dark,"
