Dark then brought Into the Abyss, which he had been hiding behind his back, into view.
Without any prompting, Angus Jeffrey saw the book once again.
Professor Kazel asked again, "When did you obtain this book?"
Angus Jeffrey answered without hesitation, "Late September."

Professor Kazel could not help frowning. "Can you determine the exact date?"
Angus Jeffrey appeared very cooperative. "Let me think... Probably September 18th. I suddenly found this book while looking up information in the library, and then borrowed it from the library. Is there something wrong with this book?"
"Kazel?" Professor Sylph suddenly spoke up.
Professor Kazel's brow furrowed tightly as well.
After thinking for a moment, Dark realized where the issue lay.
Cameron Maysfield had picked up Into the Abyss at the beginning of the school term, on September 3rd.
Then, fifteen days later, Into the Abyss had suddenly vanished without a trace—on September 18th!
If Angus Jeffrey had also found Into the Abyss on September 18th, then it basically meant there had been no third party between him and Cameron Maysfield.
