Elite Training Camp.
He had just gotten off the aircraft.
A staff member was already waiting to escort Fang Yi to the Nine-Layered Tower.
On the way, he ran into some of his fellow senior students. When the Training Camp students saw Fang Yi back, they all came over to greet him.
"Fang Yi, you're finally back! You actually dared to spend two months out there!"
"He's a War God now, and he killed seven Lord-level Monsters in a row. Why are you still worried about him?"
"Fang Yi, did you really take on seven monsters at once and kill them all? That's incredible! When I first heard about it, I thought people were exaggerating and making you out to be some kind of legend."
"I mean, it was clearly stated in the news bulletin. How could it be a rumor?"
Fang Yi listened to the students around him, feeling a little dazed.
But he quickly caught on. Apparently, someone had captured footage of his battle and spread it around.
It was probably the work of the higher-ups at the Limit Dojo.
They were using the opportunity to promote the Limit Dojo's reputation and tie Fang Yi firmly to the organization.
That would discourage anyone with designs on poaching him.
Fang Yi simply smiled. "Keep working hard, too. It won't be long before you all reach War God Level."
"Hey, thanks for the encouragement!"
"Fang Yi, are you free to have dinner with us today? I'm really curious about the adventures you had out there over the past two months~"
"You're curious about his adventures? You're obviously curious about his body!"
"That's not right. I'm not curious—I'm lusting after his body."
"Hmph, so what if I'm lusting after Fang Yi's body? You're all lusting after him too. If you were women, I refuse to believe you wouldn't be."
"I may not be a woman... but I'm still lusting after Fang Yi's body."
Fang Yi suddenly realized the conversation had taken a strange turn.
He hurriedly gave an awkward cough and stopped chatting with the students around him, quickly following the staff member toward the Nine-Layered Tower.
Normally, he would have had to go to the designated department, the Limit Building, to get his rank confirmed. But since Hong had personally given the order, they had skipped that step.
His rank could be confirmed at the office in the Training Camp's Nine-Layered Tower.
When they reached the office,
Fang Yi was about to ask the War God who had accompanied him to take his hunting materials and assess his rank, but he saw that the man hadn't brought anything with him.
"Hmm? I don't need to hand over the materials?" Fang Yi asked in confusion.
The War God beside him replied, "No need. Your materials were already registered, so we can just use the previous records to complete the paperwork."
After the man explained, Fang Yi nodded and didn't ask anything else.
It seemed they had already prepared much of the paperwork for him. All he had to do was go through the remaining steps.
After all, to be ranked a High-level War God, a Martial Artist had to submit materials from two Advanced Lord-level Monsters they had hunted, and they had to have killed them personally for the materials to count.
A few minutes later,
Fang Yi's personal record confirmed his rank as a High-level War God.
Even his application to the War God Palace was approved immediately. It had barely been submitted before it was accepted, with virtually no delay.
No one even came to test him, which surprised the staff.
Only a very small number of War Gods could skip the assessment and be approved directly.
"Mr. Fang Yi, here is your Consciousness Sensor Helmet. Please take good care of it. With this helmet, you can access the War God Palace in Virtual Space from anywhere in the world."
Fang Yi took the helmet case from the staff member.
The moment he picked it up,
he suddenly heard a familiar voice coming from the side.
"Fang Yi, you're back." Yang Hui approached with a smile and said, "Hall Master Hong is waiting for you in the reception room on the eighth floor."
"All right. Teacher Yang, could you take this case back to my loft for me?"
"No problem. And don't call me Teacher. Just call me Old Yang. It's only been a little while, and you've already become a High-level War God. That's unbelievable."
Yang Hui looked at him as if he were a monster.
He'd known Fang Yi had incredible talent, but he never imagined that after just over two months away, Fang Yi would become a High-level War God.
Some people trained for decades and still couldn't break through to become a War God. Yet here was a young man who'd become one at nineteen!
It was terrifying.
After chatting with Yang Hui for a while, Fang Yi let him go without keeping him any longer. Yang Hui took the case and left the ninth floor.
Fang Yi went up to the eighth floor to meet Hong in the reception room.
The reception room.
"Fang Yi, have a seat."
Hong happily gestured for Fang Yi to sit down. Then he carried the teapot over to the tea table and personally poured two steaming cups of tea.
After setting down the cups, Hong motioned for Fang Yi to drink.
Fang Yi picked up his teacup. Before he could ask anything, Hong spoke first.
"You've reached High-level War God now, so you're no longer a student. You should have received your helmet, right?"
"Yeah, I got it after applying for the High-level War God title."
"Good. I'll take you to the War God Palace myself sometime. Also, now that you're no longer a student, you should choose another position. You could become a teacher at the Elite Training Camp or serve as an Inspector."
Fang Yi understood. Given his current strength, he could no longer remain a student.
The two choices—Inspector or teacher—were more or less the same to him.
After all, those positions didn't really matter to him.
But if he became an Inspector, he would have to stay in one city long-term, and he would need to go through an extra procedure whenever he wanted to travel elsewhere.
"Dojo Master, to be honest, I'm not interested in either of those positions."
"Oh? Why not? Can you tell me?"
"If I had to give a reason, I'd say I'd rather go back to the Australian Continent and keep exploring, so I can improve my combat experience."
Fang Yi's spear and sword techniques had both reached the third, perfected stage, and he had already glimpsed the threshold of the next level.
So Fang Yi needed hundreds, even thousands, of battles to keep honing his skills.
If he took either position, he would have less time to himself.
After hearing Fang Yi out, Hong waved a hand. "That's easy. If you still want to train on the Australian Continent or somewhere else, I can simply grant you the necessary permissions. The Training Camp is relatively close to the overseas continents, so you can become a teacher there."
"When you have time, you can teach the students. And when you want to go out and hunt monsters to hone your skills, just submit a travel notice. You can be a special teacher. That solves everything."
"It can work like that?"
"Why not? Rules are dead, people are alive. We can do whatever's most convenient."
"But I don't have any teaching experience."
Hong gently waved his hand, set down his teacup, and said seriously, "You don't need teaching experience. For a Martial Artist teacher, the most important thing is strength! Just teach them according to your own ideas and the path you took in training."
"And the weapons you use are part of the lessons, too. Don't worry. With your High-level War God strength, you already qualify to be a teacher."
"I understand."
Fang Yi nodded seriously. He'd never been a teacher before, but there was a first time for everything.
Besides, the Training Camp was indeed relatively close to the outside world, so traveling back and forth would be convenient.
If he were assigned to live in a city long-term, traveling out and then returning would actually be more troublesome. The time wasted going back and forth would be enough for Fang Yi to kill dozens, even hundreds, of monsters.
"Good. Then it's settled."
"I'll have someone enter your teaching information into the system. Starting today, you're a new teacher at our Elite Training Camp."
Australian Continent.
Countless monsters were passing the news among themselves, from the land-dwelling monsters to those in the sky and the water.
A new War God had appeared among the Human Race, and this War God was high-ranking and extremely ruthless!
Thousands upon thousands of monsters had already died at the hands of this human War God.
His threat level had reached the very top among humans. What's more, word that he had killed a King Rank Monster had caused an even greater stir.
Many King Rank Monsters grew wary when they heard the news.
"Apart from Hong and Thunder God, there's no one else who can make us wary..."
"But that human War God people are talking about now seems very young?"
"That's right. My child told me that human War God has tremendous potential. He might one day achieve as much as those two."
"Even those few Beyond War Gods don't dare hunt us so recklessly. They're careful about their own lives. But who would've thought someone so reckless would show up? He hunts without restraint and shows no mercy. Wherever he strikes, an entire group is wiped out—an entire group destroyed."
"Damn it! If only I'd gone with Brother Lizard back then! We could've killed that human War God and eliminated a major threat!"
"Who could've known Red Fang wouldn't be able to handle him..."
"Anyway, everyone stay alert. That human may be strong, but he still wouldn't dare enter our deeper territory. He can't cause us too much damage for now. If we get a chance later, or hear anything, we'll try to kill him."
"After all, he hasn't truly become a powerhouse like Hong and Thunder God."
"Right..."
"Next time, don't let your guard down. If we spot him, we'll all attack together and kill him!"
Elite Training Camp.
Fang Yi followed a staff member to complete the paperwork for his teaching credentials. The whole process wasn't very complicated.
"Mr. Fang Yi, what type of weapon are you best with? We need to assess your proficiency with your weapons."
"Weapon types..."
Fang Yi edited the list of weapons he would teach on the projection in front of him.
There were eighteen types of weapons listed, along with other unusual weapons, some less common weapons, and things like fist techniques and body techniques.
Fang Yi then selected swords, spears, and fist techniques.
"All right. Please enter the training room. Use all the weapons and fist techniques you selected above. We'll record your demonstration as teaching material and assess your skill at the same time."
"Sure."
This was Fang Yi's first time becoming a Martial Artist teacher. He had to complete the process before he could receive his credentials.
Inside the training room,
Fang Yi held a longsword and demonstrated basic sword techniques. The recording device beside him precisely captured every movement.
Next came spear techniques, fist techniques, and so on.
When he had finished, Fang Yi submitted some personal information and waited for the staff to process it.
It didn't take long for the process to be completed.
"Mr. Fang Yi, once your weapon skills improve further, please report it to us. We'll update your teaching information afterward."
"That's it?"
"Yes. Your teaching records and credentials will be ready within a day and delivered to your residential area."
"Mm, understood."
After finishing all the paperwork, Fang Yi left the Nine-Layered Tower.
