Background / History

Thunder God was recognized as one of Earth’s foremost martial artists, with monsters regarding him and Hong as the standard of truly dangerous human powerhouses. Even during Fang Yi’s rise, monsters distinguished Fang Yi from the established threat posed by “Hong or Thunder God.” 45

He and Hong participated in the struggle for Muya Crystals on Mist Island. After locating the Emperor Rank Tentacle Beast, the two entered the depths of the lake together and successfully killed it; Fang Yi kept World Analysis active to study their battle. 59

During the Golden Horned Behemoth crisis, Thunder God and Hong burned their souls to delay the monster. The sacrifice did not kill either of them, but both fell into a coma and required professional treatment after their bodies were recovered. 65 67
