Though Asuras with Sovereign Artifacts seemed to be everywhere on the Planar Battlefield, that was only because every Divine Plane took part, with super-strong fighters everywhere. It could even give people the mistaken impression that Sovereign Artifacts were worthless.
In reality, across the Divine Planes, only a little over one in ten Asura-level fighters possessed a Sovereign Artifact. Take Hell, for example. There were more than two hundred Asura-level experts, including the 108 Prefects and 108 Purgatory Commanders—even without counting those who weren't Prefects but still had Asura-level strength.
Hell had eight Destruction Overgod Envoys serving Overlords, eight serving each of the two Mid-Overgods, and two serving each of the four Low-Overgods. Even with every position filled, that came to only twenty-four. Including Overgod children like Leisjing, the overall proportion still wouldn't exceed twenty percent.

Kofinor scoffed inwardly, but said nothing more. Instead, he put on a satisfied smile, though he couldn't help grumbling to himself:
Emmanuel's certainly got a good plan. He's using Alfred's Sovereign's Might to pay me, so in the end, he won't have paid a thing. He's getting something for nothing.
And he makes it sound so generous, offering me two drops of Sovereign's Might as payment. But to keep Ren from escaping, how could I possibly fight without using one of my own drops? Why doesn't he reimburse me for that?
Though Kofinor was displeased with Emmanuel's arrangement, he would still get one drop of Sovereign's Might out of it. No one ever had too much of such a treasure. Besides, he only had three drops to begin with; one more was one more. So after saying goodbye to Emmanuel, he quickly left the Heavenly Sacrifice Mountain Range and flew toward Bifu Continent.
Ren had no idea that Emmanuel of the Four Divine Beasts Clan had already arranged for someone to come after him. He simply took over Alfred's place at Tamojin Lake and began cultivating in seclusion.
The battle had given him some new ideas about his signature move. He planned to refine it as soon as possible. The process might also help him find a way to continue fusing Law Mysteries.
Inside a palace at Tamojin Lake, Ren sat cross-legged on the floor of a room more than ten meters across. Green currents swirled around him, and the space rumbled from time to time. Strange music drifted in and out, while faint Dimensional Blades appeared now and then.
As expected, battle is the best way to break through.
Ren nodded to himself, sensing the collisions between the Law Mysteries. Ever since he'd reached Seven-Star Demon strength, he'd rarely fought anyone at his level. After his Wind Divine Clone became an Asura, he'd kept a low profile. Alfred had been the first Asura-level fighter he'd faced.
Ren felt he was beginning to understand the thinking of battle maniacs like Lieremons and Luomiu. Using real combat to comprehend the Laws and break through one's limits really was the fastest method—though it was also extremely dangerous.
As expected, the part I'm still lacking is the power of my physical attacks.
Ren frowned and began to circulate the Divine Power within him, forming a halo in front of his chest. He adjusted its flow, trying to improve it further and increase his attack power. During the battle, he'd sensed that his attacks still had room to grow. They weren't strong enough yet.
Though his signature move, Gale Dimensional Blast, had already matched Alfred's attack power, Ren still felt it wasn't enough. To unleash the strongest possible physical attack with the Wind Law Profound Mysteries, he needed to gain further insight.
I still can't find a point of connection to fully fuse the final Dimensional Profound Mystery. Ren frowned and tried fusing them from different angles, but felt that something was missing.
In a sense, the Wind Law was one of the more unusual among the Seven Laws. It had nine Mysteries, while the other elemental Laws each had only six.
The Wind Law's Mysteries were Wind Element, Wind Movement, Clone Technique, Vocal Music, Sound Wave, Fast, Slow, Wind Space, and Dimension. Wind Element was the foundation; Wind Movement and Fast and Slow concerned speed; Vocal Music and Sound Wave focused on the soul; Wind Space restrained opponents; and Dimension was for attacking.
Ren had already perfectly fused eight Law Mysteries. Only the ninth, the Dimensional Profound Mystery, remained. And among the Wind Law's Mysteries, Dimension was the most fundamental and powerful for physical attacks.
"Understanding the Dimensional Profound Mystery isn't complicated, but when it comes to fusing it, I can't find a direction." Ren furrowed his brows. The halo around him flickered into disarray before settling again.
The Dimensional Profound Mystery was common among those who cultivated the Wind Law. Saint Realm wind mages could use the forbidden Saint Realm spell Dimensional Blade, widely regarded as the most powerful Saint Realm attack spell.
The Dimensional Profound Mystery wasn't difficult to comprehend. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been used as a spell in the Material Plane. In the Wind Law, Vocal Music and Sound Wave were often much harder to understand. Wind Element had been the first Wind Law Mystery Ren comprehended, and Dimension the second.
But when it came to fusion, the difficulty changed in an instant. It was as if the Dimensional Profound Mystery existed on its own. Finding a point of connection between it and the other eight Law Mysteries was harder still.
"Dimension..."
Ren kept running through possibilities in his mind. He flipped his right hand, drew out a green long spear, and continued experimenting.
