This Anse Elves documentary program was exactly the same sort of thing as the "witch programs" Jiang Han remembered.
First, they traveled to various memorial halls and private collectors' places to film the show. It was broadly a travel-documentary sort of program, following much the same formula as the retirement productions of AO Female O that Jiang Han remembered.
They would all ride in tour vehicles, making the rounds through hot springs, hotels, and scenic attractions. It could be said to be quite a big-name production.
However, for this episode, Jiang Han needed to properly prepare the historical background of the Anse Elves.
Though it looked like casual chatting among friends, the competitors would also openly display the breadth and variety of their knowledge.

In other words, witch production crews generally believed:
"Witches are more interesting when they start arguing. There's no need for something like a script—what real professional witch would need a script to manufacture conflict?"
For example, in this year's most popular spell-model lecture program, Spell Lectures Even Cats Want to Watch!, the academic heavyweights invited by the production crew—including Anjie, Eileen, Lin Qiang, Fala, and Daisili—had nearly come to blows. Anjie had even been verbally demolished by Daisili, a specialist of the Divination School, and shut herself away for a full three minutes:
"It was you, you wretched beast, who tore apart the Prophecy Veil! This old woman still hasn't settled accounts with you for tearing up theories I had already written into books back then!"
Anjie owed the Divination School quite a lot, so after being blasted like that, she could only retreat into silence.
Later, during the academic discussion, Anjie's insistence that "prophecy is a chaotic substance that cannot be clearly interpreted after the future has been projected" was directly ripped apart
