Japan's Ninety-Two Provinces sounded immensely imposing, but in reality, Japan's Ninety-Two Provinces amounted only to South City plus the Five Great Lakes region—roughly the size of a province on the mainland. Still, it was certainly large enough. For witches, physical area was not what mattered most (though admittedly, having a large physical area did look incredibly satisfying). The Ninety-Two Provinces contained nearly countless tiny folded spaces, and Eastern Isles witches would often vanish while walking along.
This was also known as [getting catted].
The distinctive sizes and scenery of these folded spaces had made many Giant Cat Lamps their residents. Quite a few Giant Cat Lamps had even become the masters of a folded space... Thus, those Eastern Isles witches who suddenly vanished had carelessly fallen into cat holes and become visitors to these cats.
It was quite an interesting situation.
But Jiang Han had discovered something even more interesting:
"You mean..."
She hesitated slightly.
"Japan only has Ninety-One Provinces now?"
That was rather exciting. While Jiang Han did not dislike Eastern Isles witches, she had to admit that seeing them suffer misfortune gave her a faint sense of schadenfreude.
Xiya snickered, though her expression remained fairly serious as she answered:
"Ninety-Two Provinces are still Ninety-Two Provinces, but due to poor management, the Eastern Isles Witch Association has decided to lease three of those provinces separately to Eileen, Lilith, and Kraken."
Good heavens, they were not carving off one piece of land—they were carving off three!
Jiang Han was stunned by the nerve of the Eastern Isles Witch Association. If possible, she truly wanted to know which great genius had dared sign such a treasonous contract.
"So the next Eileen Cup will be held on Eileen's island in Japan, then?"
Jiang Han asked.
Histeria ignored Jiang Han's phrase, "Eileen's island,"
