Pagliu and his wife, along with Julia, kept Augulas company drinking in the courtyard. It was a fine assignment, because whenever Augulas was in a good mood, he would occasionally offer them pointers, even teaching them some secret arts of the Dragon Race.

Lola glanced at Isabella, who was carrying Oliphis toward the room, then at Chen Rui. "Come with me."

The two passed through the spatial passage in the garden and entered Rainbow Valley.

"That thing still hasn't been discovered. Pagliu certainly won't mention it either, so remember—not a word must slip out."

Chen Rui knew she meant the Silver Casket and nodded.

After several months apart, Chen Rui discovered that Lola's overall strength had actually reached S++. She was evidently extremely close to achieving Kingdom Transformation. He wondered whether it had anything to do with Augulas.

The Earth Elemental King had once said that Lola's goal was to obtain the power of a full-element kingdom encompassing all six elements. Elements existed everywhere; once she succeeded, she would possess the strongest kingdom power, but the difficulty would be equally immense. In the Demon Realm, where light elements were scarce, Lola had nevertheless used the other five major elements to derive a full-element domain. Even in the Earth Elemental King's eyes, she was an astonishing genius. Yet the road to power was strewn with danger, and the higher one climbed, the more so. Lola's strength was by no means built on talent and luck alone, but on hardships multiplied countless times over. An Elemental Kingdom was N times more difficult than an elemental domain, and with each additional element, the difficulty and danger of cultivation grew exponentially. One careless misstep, and one could suffer elemental backlash and be reduced to ashes.
